Sleepy Hollow Trail Riders Association
and the
Sleepy Hollow State Park
This State Park is located in eastern Clinton County, 6 miles south of M-21, 9 miles east of U.S. 27 on Price Rd. Use Price Rd Business 27 Exit.
The 9.5 miles of well marked equestrian trail wanders through grassland areas, pine and hardwood stands and over rolling hills and creeks. The West and East trail loops may be ridden separately or combined as one large loop.
Horseman Facilities include:
Sleepy Hollow State Park provides facilities for picnicking, 180 non-equestrian camping sites, fishing, swimming, boating and 16 miles of hiking and biking trails. Hunting is allowed according to State Park rules & seasons. All vehicles need a State Park $6 daily or $24 annual pass. These are available at the entrance booth and campground office.
Sleepy Hollow Trail Riders Assoc, Inc. was formed in 1997 to create & maintain these equestrian trails and staging area. The membership fees and various fund raising events support the trails for public equestrian use. Your support of SHTRA, Inc. is welcomed & shows that you care about these trails.
