Workbees-       April 5-Workbee 9:00 am-2:00 pm parking lot edge cleanup, ramp touch up & trail maintenance

April 13- SUN. The Rotten Egg Hunt- 2:00 pm for SHTRA members and families. Pat Brown 517-651-5984 Youngsters search on foot for those rotten eggs! Trail ride following.

May 3- SAT. Plow Day-9:00 am Contact Gary Fortin 989-834-1813 Lunch available. Watch draft horse teams work our wildlife food plots. A unique chance to view our rural heritage. SHTRA Volunteers needed for parking, 50/50, ect…

May 17-SAT. Judged Trail Ride –A Kris Kulhanek Memorial - The Rangers 4-H Club Host. Riding between 10-2pm $20.00 for 4-H members, $30.00 non-members. Prizes. 4 age divisions. Lunch provided. Contact Mary at 517-651-6884 or JoAnn at 989-725-7553. Profits for Kris Kulhanek Memorial Scholarship Fund

*July 19 & 20- The DAMN Ride- The Dennis Austin Memorial Night Ride- Saturday Fun & Games Staging Area, Poker Runs on the Trail. Members & Guests Picnic Potluck at 6:00 pm. Bring a dish to pass and your table service. Must RSVP 989-661-2541 for Moonlight Ride. Over night camping fee for non-workbee members. Sunday- Pancake breakfast and Horseshoe Hunt.       Instructional Horse Massage Clinic 517-641-7402 to reg.

August 30- SAT. Scavenger Hunt- Boot Scootin’Boogie Riders 4-H Club will host. Ride for prizes. Contact Amber 989-290-1353 or Mary Lytle517-202-7255 Ride 11:00 am-2:00 pm   3:00 pm hot dog roast for participants. Donation Offering. Don’t forget your trail bags to collect scavenger items.

*October 11- Ichabod Crane Days Wagon Rides. 10:30am-? Horse drawn wagon rides at the campground w/ 3:00 pm Potluck Dinner at Staging Area. The Headless Horseman, Ichabod Crane and Katrina will be riding. Other Costumes option. Contact Marsh 989-661-254 or Gary at 989-834-1813 Volunteers needed for heading, helping and cooking.
